Lexus claims that the former can go from 0-100kph in 4.5 seconds.

One of the cars that will be revealed at the New York Motor Show this year is the Lexus LS F Sport, a complete delight for Lexus enthusiasts. The new model is based on a much more dynamic design sense, with engines mated to 10-speed gearboxes. The car comes fitted with all kinds of cool technology, that make driving it a dream, such as Lexus’ Dynamic Handling tech.

The car is offered in two colours - a pale blue and a stark white. The interiors come furnished with bolstered seats with perforated leather and ultra suede, as well as aluminium pedals and footrest. Power is derived from a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 producing 421hp and 599Nm torque in the LS 500, while the same engine is mated to an electric motor for the LS 500h, the mild hybrid version, with 299hp and 354 and both are paired with 10-speed automatic gearboxes.

Lexus claims that the former can go from 0-100kph in 4.5 seconds, while the LS500h clocks it in at 5.4 seconds. But the latter can also be used in electric-only mode at up to 140kph and though Lexus hasn't made any official announcements yet, its range is expected to be around 48km. The LS F Sport gets chassis control tech to control the car’s ride and flatness around corners, as well as provide greater comfort, by tweaking the brake response, steering and suspension.

Lexus has added bigger brakes and air suspension to the car for a tighter ride. The aforementioned Lexus’ Dynamic Handling tech controls the performance of the ABS, traction control, ESC and steering to govern the car's behaviour at different speeds and to tweak and alter it.
