Will rival the BMW X1 and Jaguar E-Pace when it goes on sale.

The Lexus UX will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show, and the carmaker released a teaser photo and a small video ahead of its reveal. This car will rival the likes of the Jaguar E-Pace, Mercedes-Benz GLA and BMW X1 when it goes on sale.

The UX features a mix of internal combustion engines and traditional hybrid powertrains. The car could share engines with lower-end NX SUV models and the CT hatchback. The brand’s spiky design language that is evident in its recent models suggests that this car could retain some of its concept’s wild, spiky lines.

This image shows a light strip across the back of the car, which looks a lot more toned down than the one shown on the concept version of the car. It also has 'Lexus UX F Sport'  badging, suggesting the car shown will be a range-topping version.
