Mahindra Mojo BS6 will be offered with four new color schemes.

Mahindra Mojo BS6 is just a few days away from hitting the Indian roads as the company has started online booking for the new motorcycle at a token amount of Rs 5000. It will be available in four new color options: Garnet Black, Ruby Red, Red Agate and Pearl Black. The bike was spotted as a test mule a few days back in Pune without any camouflage. Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 was recently teased on social media by the company and it has been known that the motorcycle will not have any cosmetic updates as it will be similar to the BS4 model.

Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 will replace the existing BS4 XT300 and UT300 variants which were launched in 2019. The motorcycle will flaunt the same dual headlamp setup, albeit with a new addition in the form of a pair of LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), as reported by a section of the media. Other exterior elements would include sculpted body panels, large radiator shrouds and engine cowl. The alloy wheel design is expected to be retained from the current model while the single side-mounted exhaust pipe will also remain the same. The details regarding the instrument cluster are not revealed yet but in all likelihood, it will be the same as the BS4 model. The front suspension will get telescopic forks, not USDs as speculated. The rear suspension will be monoshock as standard.

The only real change with the Mojo 300 comes in the form of a powertrain as the company will update the existing 294.72cc single-cylinder to BS6 emission levels. The power output and torque performance of the BS6 compliant engine are not known yet but they are going to be more or less the same as the BS4 version which stands at 26.29bhp at 7500rpm and 28Nm at 5500rpm. The engine will be linked to a 6-speed transmission like before. Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 price is expected to be higher than the BS4 model but the company is looking to achieve an aggressive pricing, somewhere around Rs 1.95 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom). The motorcycle will directly rival Honda CBR 250R in the Indian market.
