Mahindra XUV 3XO Deliveries Commenced in India

Mahindra & Mahindra has commenced delivering the XUV 3XO SUV in India. The company launched the XUV 3XO in the country at the end of last month. The all-new XUV 3XO is the facelifted version of Mahindra’s famous XUV300 subcompact SUV. The new model features significant exterior and interior updates. On May 15, 2024, Mahindra started the booking process for the SUV, and within the first 60 minutes, the new car managed to clock 50,000 bookings in the country. Now, the brand has delivered 1,500 units of the SUV on the first day.

The automaker offers the Mahindra XUV 3XO in nine trims: MX1, MX2 Pro, MX2, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5 Luxury, AX5, AX7, and AX7 Luxury. The XUV 3XO version comes at a starting cost of INR 7.49 lakh and goes up to INR 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can reserve the car online or by visiting their nearest Mahindra showrooms.

In terms of design, the Mahindra XUV 3XO features new elements such as a completely revamped front fascia, all LED headlights, a new grille, a scuff plate, an integrated spoiler, bold SUV 3XO lettering, and redesigned headlamps. The SUV rolls on newly forged 17-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the XUV 3XO comes with three powertrain options: a 1.2-litre MPFi turbo-petrol engine, a 1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine, and a robust 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre MPFi Turbo unit is tuned to churn out 110 PS of power and peak torque of 200 Nm. The unit is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AT transmission. The more powerful 1.2-litre TGDi Turbo-Petrol unit can generate power of 130 PS and 230 Nm of torque. It is paired with both 6MT and 6AT gearboxes. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre diesel engine churns out power of 117 PS and peak torque of 300 Nm. The unit can be paired with either a 6-speed automated manual transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. 

The newly launched SUV has three steering modes: Comfort, Normal, and Sport. On the feature front, the XUV 3XO comes loaded with projector headlamps, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED taillights, C-shaped LED DRLs, connected car tech, a Level 2 ADAS suite, automatic climate control, an LED light bar, panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, an EPB with auto-hold function, a 65W USB type-C charging port, and a Harman Kardon sound system.

Mahindra is offering the new model in eight new vibrant color options: Dune Beige, Deep Forest, Citrine Yellow, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Nebula Blue, Stealth Black, and Tango Red. In the compact SUV segment, the Mahindra XUV 3XO gives tough competition to the likes of the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Kia Sonet.
