Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Luxury Variants Launched

They are being named as AX7 Luxury Diesel MT 7-seater and AX7 Luxury AT + AWD 7-Seater

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched two new top-of-the-line variants of the XUV700 in the Indian market. Being named as Mahindra AX7 Luxury Diesel MT 7-seater and Mahindra AX7 Luxury AT + AWD 7-Seater, they attract a price of Rs 19.99 Lakhs and Rs 22.89 Lakhs (Both the prices are Ex. Showroom), respectively. The aforementioned pricing is only valid for the first 25,000 bookings which start from tomorrow at 10 AM across the country. The brand will make an official announcement by October 10, 2021 regarding the beginning of deliveries of the SUV.

Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Luxury gets the optional luxury pack which comprises of a plethora of additional features besides the standard features on the SUV. It includes immersive 3D sound by Sony, electrically deployed smart door handles, 360 surround view, blind view monitoring, electronic park brake, driver knee airbag, passive keyless entry, continuous digital video recording and wireless charging. The range-topping AX7 grade is available only in a 7-seater configuration at a starting price of Rs 17.59 Lakhs. At the time of launch, it was announced that the Luxury Pack will come at an extra premium of Rs 1.80 Lakhs over the standard price while the automatic four-wheel-drive variant would cost an extra amount of Rs 1.30 Lakhs.


Mechanically, both the variants are powered by a 2.2L 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engine with power output of 182 bhp and peak torque of 420 Nm with 6-speed manual and 450 Nm with 6-speed automatic transmission. The deliveries of the petrol variants will start before the deliveries of the diesel variants. In addition, Mahindra has also introduced an industry-first ‘Add to cart’ functionality on its website for the XUV700. It allows customers to save variant configurations, including fuel type, seating capacity, colour and dealer preference, ahead of the booking commencement. Upon the completion of the booking, any further modifications made by the buyer to the variant will be treated as a fresh booking.
