Mahindra XUV700 Unofficial Bookings Start at Rs 25000

Mahindra XUV700 is offered in both 5- and 7- seater versions in the Indian market

Mahindra & Mahindra recently unveiled the New Mahindra XUV700 in the Indian market. The homegrown automaker has announced the price for the 5-seater variants. However, the prices for the 7-seater variants will be revealed in October 2021. As of now, Mahindra dealerships have started accepting unofficial bookings for the SUV at a token amount of Rs 25000. The official bookings will commence sometime around the festive season.

Mahindra XUV700: Price

Talking about the prices, the entry-level XUV700 5-seater variant is retailed at Rs 11.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The price goes as high as Rs 14.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the AdrenoX AX5 variant.

Mahindra XUV700: Design

Design-wise, the new XUV700 portrays a muscular design. Upfront, it features a multi-slat grille. In addition, it gets LED headlights with massive C-shaped LED DRLs, new bumpers, and silver-colored skid plates. On the sides, the SUV features blacked-out B-pillars, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, roof rails, and power-adjustable ORVMs. Moving towards the rear end of the vehicle, it boasts of angular LED taillights and a roof-mounted spoiler.


Mahindra XUV700: Interior Features

Moving inside the cabin of the XUV700 5-seater variant, it comes equipped with a host of features. These include a Sony 3D audio system with 12 speakers, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 2-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an engine start-stop button, rear parking sensors, and many others. The safety kit comprises 7 airbags, a 360-degree view camera, and ADAS. 


Mahindra XUV700: Engine Specifications

Mechanically, the new XUV700 comes with a choice of two engine options. A 2.0-litre Turbo GDi mStallion Petrol unit that churns out a maximum power of 197 bhp and a peak torque of 380 Nm. The 2.2-litre Commonrail Turbo mHawk diesel unit, on the other hand, generates 182 bhp & 420 Nm (Manual)/450 Nm (Automatic) and 152 bhp & 360 Nm (Manual). Transmission duties are taken care of by either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
