Maruti Ignis limited edition has been launched with the sea of special editions recently being launched in India ahead of the festive season. The Ignis limited edition comes with cosmetic changes that adds a rugged appeal to the tallboy hatchback. This special edition is based on the Delta trim and comes with both manual and automatic petrol engine options.
The changes on the exterior include front and rear skid plates, side skirts, door cladding and a roof mounted spoiler. These styling elements make it look rugged and we think Maruti wants to compete with the Tata Tiago NRG edition with this Ignis limited edition. The interiors get faux leather upholstery and premium floor mats.
Accessories worth Rs. 45,000/- have been added with this limited edition model to make it more desirable. Since the diesel version has been discontinued by the automaker recently, the Ignis now only comes with the 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT transmission.
