In a bid to do lure new customers, Maruti Suzuki has been offering discounts to customers on almost all of its cars in the market.

The car industry has been facing a tough time in India. Sales have slowed down overall and the election season is doing no good to the industry as well. These discounts are meant to offset the inventory pile-up that the makers are facing currently. Maruti also updated a lot of its entry level cars in the market recently so that the models could comply with the safety norms that came into effect on April 1 2019.
