aruti Suzuki has clocked cumulative sales of 1 million CNG vehicles. The company started selling CNG vehicles in 2010 and currently its portfolio comprises of 9 vehicles namely Alto, S-Presso, WagonR, Celerio, Dzire, Ertiga, Eeco, Super Carry and Tour-S. Maruti Suzuki S-CNG vehicles are conceptualized, designed, developed and rigorously tested at the brand’s world-class research & development (R&D) facility before they are made available to the customers. Maruti Celerio CNG has the highest mileage of 35.60 km/kg in India.


Maruti Suzuki CNG vehicles come fitted with dual interdependent ECUs with an intelligent injection system. They boast of a re-tuned chassis, suspension & braking system for all kinds of terrains. The CNG vehicles are equipped with a microswitch that ensures that the vehicle is off and doesn’t start while refuelling.
