Maruti Suzuki Recalls Super Carry Vehicles

Maruti Suzuki recalls the commercial vehicle Super Carry.

Maruti Suzuki voluntarily recalls the commercial vehicle, Super Carry for a possible defect in the fuel pump assembly. The total number of vehicles affected are 640 in the domestic market, which was manufactured between 20 Jan 2018 and 14 July 2018.

The vehicle owners will be contacted by the dealers from October 3. The replacement of the part will be done free of cost. The recall campaign is undertaken at the global level in order to rectify any potential safety defect.

The owners of Super Carry can visit the company website and check if their vehicle is on the list by entering the 14 digits alpha-numeric chassis number.

The Super Carry is powered by a 793cc, 2-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 32 BHP and 75 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It can carry up to 740 kg of payload
