Maruti Suzuki will launch the all-new S-Presso in the Indian market on 30th September. The crossover-inspired design of the S-Presso has caught a lot of eyes and after releasing a couple of official videos of the vehicle, Maruti Suzuki has now revealed official pictures of the car that shows all the details of the vehicle. Here are all the official pictures of the upcoming S-Presso.
The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso gets a sleek grille upfront with chrome hexagonal design. In the lower variants, there will be no chrome present. The S-Presso is designed to entice the youths and the design of the vehicle has a very funky look to it. The wraparound headlamps of the S-Presso looks quite good and houses the turn indicator too. The fog lamps are positioned in the bumper and get a black wraparound. Since the vehicle gets a rugged design, it has black bumpers even in the top-end variant. Also, the running board of the car gets black cladding. The ground clearance of the car is not known but it is likely to be more than 165mm.
The S-Presso looks like a mini Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. However, it is quite small in size. The car has 3,665mm of length and 1,520mm of width. It has a wheelbase of 2,380mm. Depending on the variant size, the car gets 13-inch or 14-inch wheels. Due to the different wheel size, the lower variants will offer 1,549mm of height while the higher variant will offer 1,564mm. It should be noted that even the top-end variant of the car will not get alloy wheels. This will ensure that Maruti Suzuki will be able to price the S-Presso quite competitively in the market.
The cabin of the S-Presso looks quite jazzy and there are contrasting color highlights everywhere. The dashboard gets a large circular element similar to the MINI cars and the SmartPlay infotainment system is positioned inside it. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will get the infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The instrument cluster is positioned in the middle and it is an all-digital cluster. There are contrasting highlighted bezels around the AC vents and the AC too. We can also spot USB plug and 12V charging sockets in front of the gear lever. The steering wheel gets integrated buttons to control the infotainment system. The rear windows are manually-operated.
The new pictures also reveal the large boot space of the S-Presso. While the exact number is not known, it is big enough to handle the luggage for a weekend trip. The all-new S-Presso will get powered by the same 1.0-litre petrol engine that is available with the Alto K10.
However, the engine will be upgraded to the BS6 norms. It generates a maximum power of 68 PS and peak torque of 90 Nm. Both manual and AMT automatic transmissions will be available with the car.
