Mercedes Aids Flood Affected Customers In Mumbai

The company is offering special discounts on spares, and a waiver on towing charges and faster processing of insurance claims.

To aid Mumbai customers, whose cars took a beating thanks to the recent floods, Mercedes has provided special services. These include replacement of parts, service and insurance claims.

Roland Folger, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India stated that the company will source any required parts from Germany and Singapore by air, without charging the customer. The German car manufacturer is also providing special discounts on necessary spare parts, and is ensuring faster processing of insurance claims via its Daimler Financial Services India division. The company is also sourcing manpower from its neighbouring dealers to reduce the time taken.

Cars insured under Allianz Global will also see speedy processing. The carmaker is also bringing down technical experts to supervise dealers and offer consulting services to its buyers.
