The manufacturer is recalling the 800cc Kwid for a steering issue.

Renault has sent out a recall for fixing a steering-related problem that is affecting the 800cc Kwid. The exact number of cars and model year has not been announced yet.

The voluntary recall has let owners of the affected Kwids know and helped them with scheduling an appointment. Owners will be sent to the closest Renault dealer that can solve this issue. The hatchback is available with two powertrains – a 54hp, 800cc and a 68hp, 1000cc motor. This problem has only been noticed on the 800cc model.

Renault has said that it will resolve the issue at no extra cost to the customer. The manufacturer also recently launched a special-edition Kwid for 2018, which has the option of both engines and parking sensors.
