MG Hector October Sales Crosses 3536 Units

MG Motor India announced that the sales of the MG Hector car are increasing each month. MG Hector car’s October month sales record of 3536 units which is highest so far. Until now, the company has received more than 38000 bookings so far.

The latest entrant in the Indian car market which is Morris Garage has reported a retail sale of 3,536 units in the October month.

The company’s first offering that is MG Hector seems to be doing well in the car market given that the sales of the car are increasing each month.

The sales figure of the car in the first month after the launch that is July stood at 1508 units. While the sales figures for the August month were reported at 2018 units. 

The marketing of the MG Hector seems to be working as the company is gaining traction slowly in the Indian car market.

This is even more evident with the car’s October sales record of 3536 units which is highest so far. The car comes in three variants which are Style, Super, Smart, and Sharp variants. Until now, the company has received more than 38000 bookings so far.

Initially due to heavy demand, the company has closed down the bookings but from September 29 bookings have been reopened.

MG Hector is equipped with attractive features like split LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, LED fog lamps, dual-tone machined alloys and shark fin antenna that adds to the exterior appeal of the car.

Inside the car sports a massive 10.4- inch HD touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple car Play also. A 7-inch colored multi-information console provides essential info to the driver. The car also comes with over 50 different connectivity features via the iSmart system that makes it an Internet car.

The car is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged intercooler petrol engine that breathes life into the car. The engine can put out 143 PS of power and peak torque of 250 Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox along with the option for a 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).

The petrol variant gets a 48V hybrid option that gets a 6-speed manual gearbox. The diesel variant of the car is powered by 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that pumps 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The diesel variant is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The car comes with color options like Aurora Silver, Candy White, Starry Black, Burgundy Red and Coloured Glaze Red. The car has an ex-showroom price range of Rs 12.48 lacs to Rs 17.28 lacs.

The car rivals with the likes of Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500 and Jeep Compass.
