MG Motor India announced today that it is revising the prices for its range of car models. The auto giant is celebrating its 100th anniversary by unveiling several wow offerings for its 2024 lineup. The company has unveiled a new variant of the MG ZS EV. The manufacturer rolled out special discounts offers for the MG Comet EV, Hector, Gloster, and Astor cars. The auto giant is aiming to attract more buyers with its amazing product offerings, brand experience, and outstanding value propositions.
In India, the first-ever model of the company is MG Hector. The petrol variant of the car is now available at a price of INR 14.94 lakh (ex-showroom), while the diesel version is priced at INR 17.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The Comet EV, on the other hand, now comes with a price reduction. The base trim is priced at INR 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The MG Astor comes at a price of INR 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Gloster flagship SUV is now available at a starting price of INR 37.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Deputy Managing Director of MG Motor India, Gaurav Gupta, said, "At MG, we are committed to keeping the customer at the heart of our operations. In continuation with our centenary celebrations, we’re excited to introduce 2024 as the Year of Fast Forward, to ensure a rewarding ownership experience for all. This has been made possible due to increased localisation, long-term freight contracts, streamlined logistics, supply chain improvement, and long-term key commodities cost rationalization."
The company has now unveiled a new trim of the MG ZS EV Executive variant, and it is priced at INR 18.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Till now, the cost of the Excite variant was fixed at INR 22.88 lakh (ex-showroom). The EV comes equipped with a 50.3 kWh battery set that provides a certified range of 461 km. The electric motor churns out 174 bhp of maximum power and 280 Nm of peak torque. In 60 minutes, the battery set can range from 0 to 80 percent via a 50 kW DC fast charger.
MG Motor entered the Indian automotive industry in 2019. The auto giant has been focusing on manufacturing more SUVs. The brand has also unveiled two all-electric models recently. MG was one of the first brands to introduce advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in India.
