The British-origin automotive brand MG Motor has showcased its new offering in the MPV segment for the Indian market at the Auto Expo 2020. The new product was in form of MG 360M which was on display in Hall Number 5 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.
On the exterior front, it comes with horizontal grille with chrome inserts alongside the split-headlamp-setup. It appears to be riding on alloy wheels which are smaller in size than the MG Hector. Inside the cabin, it comes with a host of new features. These include internet connectivity option, 360-degree camera, sunroof and touch screen infotainment system. The safety features include ESP, hill ascent control and six-airbags, The cabin comes with upholstery with leather finish seats, thus giving a premium effect.
Under the hood, MG 360M is powered by similar engine as MG Hector. There is the 1.5L petrol that outputs 141 bhp max power and 250 Nm peak torque, while the Hector-sourced 2.0L diesel engine churns out 169 bhp max power and 350 Nm peak torque. The 1.5L petrol engine is also offered in a hybrid avatar. The engine is available with 6-speed manual transmission as standard while DCT gearbox available only in petrol.
