MG ONE SUV has been partially revealed via the digital route ahead of the official unveiling

The all-new MG ONE SUV has been partially revealed via the digital route. Adorning the brand's latest design and tech prowess, it will have its global debut on July 30, 2021. Underpinning the British automaker's new SIGMA architecture - an all-in-one modular designed platform, - it is not expected to be launched in the Indian market in the near future. MG ONE SUV has been equipped with chip technology, active digital ecosystem, advanced electric architecture and hard-core software technology.

The images reveal that MG ONE design in production-ready format is rather different from the model spied testing multiple times. The primary exterior highlight of the SUV is the paint shade and the sporty looking front fascia. The grille has been presented in a three-dimensional effect. If we talk about the dimensions, the SUV appears identical to the Astor - the petrol-only version of ZS EV - which will be launched in the Indian market later this year. MG ONE interior cabin will boast of several premium features in the form of a massive touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, powered and ventilated seats, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof and many more.

Mechanically, MG ONE is expected to borrow Hector's 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine which will develop maximum power of 180 bhp. It has been learnt that the brand might introduce a diesel engine for select markets. The transmission options would include a manual and an automatic unit. The details are limited at the moment but we hope to know more about the SUV on its official unveiling on July 30, 2021. MG ONE will rival various other compact SUVs in the market such as Hyundai Creta, Jeep Compass and Kia Seltos. The price is expected in a bracket of Rs 14-20 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom). Given its spectacular design and cutting-edge features, we really wish MG ONE arrives in India one day.
