MG Releases Fresh Teaser Of Hector

MG Motors has released yet another teaser of the Hector.

As the launch of the MG Hector nears, Morris Garages has increased its marketing activities with the latest being a 15-second video on YouTube being a teaser of what to expect from the brand's first launch in India. The video showcases a big panoramic roof on the Hector along with LED DRLs up front with a honeycomb grille used. At the rear, the car also gets LED tail-lights and a shark fin antenna atop the roof.

The MG Hector is a C-SUV and will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine on the Hector is likely going to be a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit with an expected output of 150 BHP, paired to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed DCT. The diesel engine will be borrowed from the Jeep Compass, the 2.0-litre oil burner is expected to output 170 BHP of power.

The MG Hector is expected to be priced around Rs. 20 lakhs and is as big as the Honda CR-V in size. MG is working hard on establishing its dealer network in India and has been showcasing its cars across the country to build awareness about the British brand.
