Sunroof as a feature in car is something that has gained currency in India in recent time. While the trend is a bit bizarre according to us given the weather conditions in India, the truth is that all Indians are going crazy after this feature. As a result, many carmakers have been forced to add a sunroof to their range of products in mid-life upgrades. There are some benefits of sunroof though in every car. It provides an airy ambience to the cabin. If you too are looking to buy a sunroof equipped car, here are four cheapest cars that you should consider before deciding.

Hyundai Venue

The new Hyundai Venue from South Korean car manufacturer comes laden with features to the brim. And what cannot be missed is a sunroof. Though only available in top variants, the Venue is at present the most affordable Hyundai car to offer a sunroof. Not just this, it is the most affordable sub-4-meter SUVs on sale in India and rivals Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300.

Ford Ecosport

Next in the series is Ford Ecosport. This car is responsible for popularizing the sub-4-meter SUV segment in India. Ecosport has always been a solid, well-rounded car and continues to be the same, even if its performance in terms of sales has been declining in recent times. True to the reputation of US car manufacturer, Ecosport comes with a sunroof on its top variants and at one point was the only vehicle in its segment to have this feature.

Honda WR-V

Honda entered the sub-4-meter SUV segment in India with WR-V. It is a crossover based on Honda Jazz that was launched in March 2017. This quirky looking car from the Japanese manufacturer features a sunroof and is fairly popular in the segment. However, as with most of the cars in this list, only the top end variant of the car is equipped with a sunroof.

Mahindra XUV300

With XUV300, Indian auto giant Mahindra left no stone unturned to create a vehicle that would set the sales chart on fires and give tough competition to popular and established players in the segment. It actually did that too by loading the car with several segment-first features. The car did very well in sales until recently when Hyundai launched the Venue. It is the safest car in the segment taking into view the number of safety features it comes with.
