In comparison to other midsize SUVs, the highest-tier Elevate model offers the most budget-friendly option, with only the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun having a higher initial price. The base and top-end variants of the Honda City cost Rs 57,000 and Rs 5,000 more, respectively, than their corresponding Elevate counterparts. Honda Elevate Design The Elevate boasts a prominent grille adorned with a large Honda emblem, flanked by slender LED headlights. These headlights are connected by a thick chrome strip at the top of the grille. This midsize SUV showcases a boxy design, featuring slightly flared wheel arches, substantial plastic cladding, and a window line that gracefully ascends toward the robust C-pillar. Its 17-inch alloy wheels bear a resemblance to the 16-inch alloy wheels found on the facelifted City. Towards the rear, the Elevate exhibits a subtly sloping windshield and tail lights that are linked via a reflective bar. It also incorporates a substantial recess on the tailgate to accommodate the number plate, along with a faux skid plate. Honda Elevate Interior and Features Inside, the Elevate is equipped with a 10.25-inch freestanding infotainment touchscreen offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, along with a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster. Notably, the Elevate features a single-pane sunroof, akin to the Skoda Kushaq and VW Taigun, while other competitors offer panoramic sunroofs. The Citroen C3 Aircross, an upcoming midsize SUV, is the only one in its segment without a sunroof. Additional features in the Elevate include a lane-watch camera, wireless charging, and a rear parking camera. Honda is also providing its ADAS suite with the Elevate, which includes features like collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, road departure warning, and automatic high beam assist. Among midsize SUVs, the MG Astor and Kia Seltos facelift are the only other models equipped with ADAS. Honda Elevate Powertrain and Dimensions The Elevate is powered by the same 121hp, 145 Nm, 1.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine found in the City, sending power to the front wheels through either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT automatic transmission. Built on Honda's Global Small Car platform, it measures 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in width, and 1,650mm in height, with a wheelbase, ground clearance, and boot space of 2,650mm, 220mm, and 458 liters, respectively. The Elevate boasts class-leading ground clearance, while its wheelbase and boot space are on the larger side when compared to its rivals. Honda Elevate Rivals Competing with the Elevate in the midsize SUV segment are the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross.Honda Elevate prices are broken down as follows:
