The Next-Gen Hyundai i20 will get six monotone and two dual-tone exterior paint schemes

The Next-Gen Hyundai i20 is all set to be launched next month. The first batch of the premium hatchback have already started to reach the showrooms. Multiple spy shots revealing the interior and exterior details of the New i20 have been leaked online in the past. Recently, the exterior paint schemes for the India-spec 2020 Hyundai i20 were leaked online ahead of its launch. 


According to the leaked information, the Next-Generation i20 will be offered in 6 monotone colour options namely Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Starry Night, Sunburn Sway, Polar White, and Fiery Red. Furthermore, the new hatchback will also get two dual-tone colour options such as Fiery Red/Black and Black/White.

Cosmetically, the India-spec New Hyundai i20 will get angular LED headlamps upfront. At the rear, it will provide a chrome strip that will connect the pair of tail-lights. Similar to the model on sale in the global market, the India-spec i20 will offer black finish C-pillars. Hyundai will equip the Next-Gen i20 with a plethora of features. These will include a wide touchscreen infotainment system with Hyundai Bluelink Connectivity, automatic climate control, multifunction steering wheel, electric sunroof, among many others. 

2020 Hyundai i20 will be offered in a total of four grades like Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta (O). Under the bonnet, the premium hatchback will borrow engines from the Hyundai Venue. It will get three powertrain options namely a 1.2-litre Kappa naturally-aspirated petrol unit, a 1.0-litre turbocharged GDI petrol motor, and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. The 1.2-litre petrol unit will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox along with iVT transmission as an option. While the more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor will cater to iMT and DCT gearboxes. As for the 1.5-litre diesel unit, it will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
