Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the updated 42 Bobber and Perak motorcycles in the Indian market. The 2024 Jawa Perak now comes with a new twin-tone variant, and it is available at a price of INR 2,13,187 (ex-showroom). The Perak motorcycle carries over the same cost as the outgoing model. On the other hand, the Jawa 42 Bobber retains the existing Moonstone White trim, and it is available at a price of INR 2,09,500 (ex-showroom). Although the new model does not come with any mechanical variations, the two-wheeler giant has reduced the price of its base Moonstone White trim.

2024 Jawa Perak

The Jawa Perak is one of the most famous motorcycles for Jawa. The 2024 Perak is finished in a stealth matte black and matte grey twin-tone scheme. The bike has a fuel filler cap and crafted brass tank badging, which gives it an old-school appeal. The Perak features a retro-styled quilted tan seat. The two-wheeler giant has also made changes to the riding triangle. To create a more comfortable riding position, the foot pegs have been shifted 155 mm forward. A new seven-step adjustable monoshock is located at the back of the bike.

The Jawa Perak retains the same 334 cc, liquid-cooled engine that churns out maximum power of 29 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The unit is paired with a 6-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch.

The new 42 Bobber comes with neo-classic design elements. The updated model receives two new variants: Jasper Red Dual Tone and Mystic Copper. The motorcycle rolls on diamond-cut alloy wheels. The Mystic Copper Alloy Wheel variant is priced at INR 2.19 lakh, while the 42 Bobber Jasper Red trim costs INR 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Powering the 42 Bobber motorcycle range is the same 334-cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine.

Commenting on the launch, the CEO of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, Ashish Singh Joshi, stated, “The Jawa Perak quickly became one of our top-selling models, a testament to India’s growing aspirational market. The 42 Bobber only cemented our segment domination further. The bobber mindset is an acquired one; you either have it or don’t. You must ride it to know if you have it.”

Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles added the Black Mirror trim to the Jawa 42 Bobber’s lineup last year. The new motorcycles rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Yezdi Roadster, Honda CB350, and Keeway V302C.
