Royal Enfield 350cc bike has been spotted doing test runs on Indian road

Recently, a new Royal Enfield Motorcycle has been spotted doing test runs on the Indian roads. Spy images of the same have been leaked online. We suspect it to be a 350cc model. However, going by these leaked photos it seems that the bike could be a new variant of Interceptor 650

As seen here, it reveals the rear end of the motorcycle. We can clearly figure the taillight set up along with the turn indicators similar to the ones present on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. As for blinkers, the hand left side one is available in orange colour. While the right-side blinker is either broken or has a clear lens. The bike is also seen featuring a golden gas canister positioned on the rear suspension along with the rear foot pegs. Furthermore, the rear fender and pillion grab rail look familiar.

The rider in the spy images is seen sitting in an upright position. This further gives us an insight that the two-wheeler could be a new variant of the Interceptor 650. However, the presence of the side-mounted single blacked-out exhaust on the prototype gives us a hint that it might be a variant of the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The reason being, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 offers a dual exhaust setup finished in chrome.

Royal Enfield recently launched the Meteor 350 in the country. The bike replaced the Thunderbird 350 in the Indian market. It is offered in three variants namely Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. Further, the bike come equipped with an all-new J-series 349cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-oil cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor dishes out 20.2 bhp power and 27 Nm torque while being linked to a constant mesh gearbox.
