The NY Auto Show, which was earlier scheduled to be held in April 2020, has been moved to late August due to coronavirus outbreak.

The 2020 New York Auto Show has been postponed until late August due to coronavirus outbreak in the USA. The high-profile car convention was all set to start on April 10, 2020. This is the first time since WWII that the annual auto show has been rescheduled.  According to a media report, the Auto Show press days will be August 26 and 27 while the public days will be from August 28 to September 6, 2020.

This year, carmakers are expected to unveil more than 50 new models at NY Auto Show. The organizers have already started taking a lot of precautions for that. They have planned to install dozens of hand-sanitizing stations throughout the sprawling event space on Manhattan’s west side.

This show is considered as one of the industry’s premier annual events thus attracting more than 1 million people to come and gawk at the latest designs and some of the world’s fastest and most expensive cars. With the rise in the coronavirus case in New York, the organizers of the Auto Show have planned to take extraordinary steps in order to help and protect the attendees, exhibitors and all the participants from the deadly disease.
