The Brazil-spec Kicks was tested.

The Latin NCAP has given the Nissan Kicks a four-star rating. Based on Nissan’s V-platform, the car is fitted with two airbags, ABS, ESC, seatbelts with pretensioners and Isofix child seat mounts, at the rear. It managed to score four stars in adult occupancy, as well as child occupancy.

If the structure and foot area had been more stable during the frontal crash test, then the car may have received five stars. Not having an airbag deactivation switch and Isofix alerts cost it one star in the child occupancy protection parameters.

Nissan has confirmed that it will bring the Kicks here in 2018. However, the Kicks that will come here will share its platform with the Duster and Captur.
