Nissan India releases TVC of the All-New Magnite; the subcompact SUV will be launched next year

Nissan India will be launching the All-New Magnite in 2021. The company has recently released a TVC of the subcompact SUV ahead of its official launch. The model showcased in this TVC came with a Flare Garnet red paint shade. The SUV is built on the philosophy of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’. 


Cosmetically, the Nissan Magnite features a dominating front grille. In addition, it also gets sleek LED bi-projector headlamps along with LED light saber-style turn indicators, L-shaped LED DRL's, and LED fog lamps. Other design highlights include front & rear silver skid plates, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, square wheel arches, and sculpted bodyside cladding. 


Talking about the interiors, Nissan has equipped the All-New Magnite with a plethora of first-in-segment features. These include a 7-inch TFT meter with welcome animation, tyre pressure monitoring system, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, and built-in voice recognition with 6-speakers. It also provides Nissan Connect that further offers 50+ features to transform the car as per the customer's need. These features will include geo-fence, roadside assistance, smartwatch connectivity among others. The horizontal instrument panel structure double-deck console makes the SUV more spacious and wider from the inside. It further provides plenty of functional storage. The SUV caters to 60-40 split foldable rear seats. Other highlights include a wireless charger, air purifier, 10-litre glovebox with illumination, puddle lamps, ambient /mood lighting, around view monitor, RH camera, and premium speakers. 


Its safety kit comprises of ABS with EBD, Hydraulic brake assist, vehicle dynamic control, traction control system, hill start assist, speed-sensing door lock, central locking, and SRS dual airbag system with pretension & load limiter seatbelt for driver and passenger. The subcompact SUV will be offered in a total of 9 colour options comprising of 5 monotone and 4 dual-tone paint schemes. 



Under the bonnet, the All-New Nissan Magnite is powered by an HRAO 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox along with an X-TRONIC CVT transmission as an option. The automaker claims that the Magnite has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 20 kmpl.
