The new SUV from Nissan will compete with the Toyota Fortuner.

Nissan’s all-new Terra SUV was revealed in China and is built on the same architecture as the popular Navara pickup and the Mercedes X-class. The company will show the Terra SUV to the public at the Beijing Motor show in China.

Some exterior bits are also shared with the Navara as well as some interior bits. The dashboard is more or less the same as the pickup but the Terra gets a unique front grille and bumper design. This car uses a seven-seat, three-row layout and offers ample space.

It will compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, the Ford Endeavour (Everest in international markets), the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and the Isuzu MU-X. The Terra will be powered by a 2.3-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. For now, there is no confirmation on whether this car will come to India.
