Toyota to launch its Innova Crysta Touring Sport

The carmaker will launch the 'Touring Sport' variant of the Innova Crysta MPV next month.

The new car will have styling changes but remain the same mechanically. The exterior body features black body cladded wheel arches and bumper. The design makes use of a lot of chrome embellishments on the front grille, outside side rear view mirrors and side cladding as well. It will also include a special 'Wine Red' hue as an exterior colour option. The car will run on 16-inch black alloy wheels, which make for an interesting combination compared to the size of the car.

The interior of the of the model will be the same as the current top-specced ZX variant except that the Touring Sport will provide a six-seater option. The seats will be upholstered in premium leather and the floor will have mats designed exclusively for this car. Though the car will be powered by engines from the regular Crysta line-up, it isn’t certain if this variant will be limited to one engine or will have a choice of engines.

The Crysta was launched in India last year in May and since then has been one of Toyota's best sellers.
