Royal Enfield Motorcycle in order to expand its product portfolio is planning to launch some new bikes in the 250cc - 750cc segments. This has officially been stated as the two-wheeler manufacturer intends on introducing a new motocycle every quarter. After launching the All-New Royal Enfield Meteor 350 in the Indian market recently, the company is prepping to bring in the Next-Gen Classic 350 in 2021. The upcoming 350cc bike has been spotted doing test runs on multiple occasions in the past. The spy shots for the same have been leaked online which gave us a fair idea of what the motorcycle will look like. The upcoming Classic 350 will be quite similar to the current-generation model in terms of aesthetics and design. However, it will get minor cosmetic and engine updates. Upcoming Royal Enfield Classis 350: Launch in India
The upcoming Royal Enfiled Classic 350 was supposed to be launched this year. But due to the COVID’19 pandemic, its launch has been delayed. The bike is speculated to now being launched in the second quarter of 2021.
Upcoming Royal Enfield Classis 350: Design & Features
The new motorcycle has been spied quite a few times doing test runs in the past. According to these spy shots, we can clearly see that the Next-Gen Classic 350 will retain the original classic look along with subtle cosmetic updates. The bike will get a new fuel tank and alloys. Furthermore, it will also get a revised tail-lamp, exhaust system, and a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analog speedometer. However, the two-wheeler is likely to carry forward a few design bits from the current-generation. These will include retro-styled blinkers, round headlamp, and chrome-plated rearview mirrors. The bike’s low-slung exhaust unit will get a new all-black theme and the pipe will also be tweaked with a chrome plate cover.
Upcoming Royal Enfield Classis 350: Engine Specification
Mechanically, the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be powered by the same engine that currently propels the newly launched Meteor 350. Thus bike will provide a 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with an OHC design. This motor will further develop a maximum power output of 20.2 bhp @ 6100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm @ 4000 rpm while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Next-Gen Classic 350 will be based on a new modular J-platform that also underpins the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. The bike will sit on a new double-cradle frame. The brand further claims that the new chassis is stronger and more durable. It is designed for straight-line stability and cornering without compromising on comfort. Suspension duties will be handled by telescopic forks upfront and twin shock absorbers towards the rear. In terms of brakes, the motorcycle will cater to dual-discs along with dual-channel ABS.

Once launched, the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 350 will compete against the likes of Jawa Classic 300, Honda CB 350, and the Benelli Imperiale 400 in its segment.
