Hyundai India has officially announced the launch of high-performance N-line models in the country. The company has stated that it will launch the first N model in the Indian market in 2021. The South-Korean automaker has not revealed the name of the first N model which is going to be introduced in India but we have learnt from reliable sources that Hyundai i20N will be launched in India in the next couple of months. For those asking, the Hyundai N line is inspired by Motorsport which reflects in the exterior, interior and performance.

Hyundai India has made it clear that it will locally produce the N-line models at its Chennai production facility to offer the buyers an aggressive pricing. To start things off, Hyundai i20N will be launched near the festive season in the Indian market followed by the other N models such as Grand i10, Elantra, Tucson and Kona EV. The Sonata and i30 are also offered in the N high-performance trim but they are unlikely to be launched in India since their regular models are not on sale in the country. Mr. S S Kim, added, “To augment customer delight, we will introduce a new N Line model in 2021 and subsequently launch additional N Line models for Indian customers over the next few years.”
