Okinawa Launches India’s first customizable B2B electric two-wheeler.

One of India’s fastest growing electric vehicle manufacturers, Okinawa has launched the country’s first B2B electric two-wheeler, Okinawa Dual today. The scooter is priced at Rs 58,998 (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can purchase the scooter from Okinawa's authenticated dealerships and stores across the country.

The Okinawa Dual comes with a dual-loading capacity both in the front and towards the rear. Okinawa has designed this two-wheeler to cater to niche requirements of delivery. Furthermore, the company is offering additional customized accessories like a delivery box, stackable crates, cold storage boxes for medicines, cylinder carrier and lab on wheels with the scooter. The scooter can easily handle the load of heavy items like gas cylinders, heavy hardware equipment, water cans, groceries with the help of these accessories.

Feature-wise, the Okinawa Dual comes equipped with remote on function, side footrest, hard mat design, phone holder, charging port, and water bottle carrier among many others. As for colour options, the electric scooter is offered in two shades - Fire Red and Sunshine Yellow.

Mechanically, the new Okinawa Dual is powered by a 250-Watt electric motor that has a top speed of 25 kmph. The company has also included a 48W 55Ah detachable battery with the package. This battery can be fully charged in about 4 to 5 hours and 80 percent in 1.5 hours. Also, it delivers a 130 km range on a single charge. The Li-ion battery pack ensures fast charging thereby making it highly reliable for B2B use. Besides these, Okinawa is offering a 3-years warranty on battery, and 3 Years or 30,000 Kms (whichever is earlier) warranty on the powertrain.
