Ola S1 Electric Scooter Deliveries Start in India

Ola organized special events for the first 100 customers in Bangalore and Chennai

Ola Electric has finally started the deliveries of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in India. The company organized special events for the first 100 customers in Bangalore and Chennai where they came with their friends and family to take the delivery of their electric scooter. It had rolled out the largest-ever direct-to-consumer experience initiative in the history of automotive retail last month which offered customers test rides across India. Ola e-scooter is offered in two variants namely S1 and S1 Pro at prices of Rs 99,999 and Rs 1.29 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).


Priority deliveries are being carried out to fulfill the overwhelming reservation and purchase response received across the country. These are based on an automated scientific approach that decides the delivery handover as per their purchase date, variant, location, color, and other factors. Ola S1 is manufactured at the company's state-of-the-art Futurefactory at Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu which is the largest, most advanced, and sustainable two-wheeler factory in the world. It has an annual capacity of 10 million while the operations are carried out by 10,000 women. Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro have a range of 121 kms and 181 kms, respectively, on a single charge.


Some of the notable features in the electric scooter are Speakers for music, Mood display, Navigation, 3 GB RAM, Reverse Assist, Cruise Control, Voice-Assist and Hill Hold Control. Varun Dubey, Chief Marketing Officer, Ola Electric said, “Today is a landmark day for those who have joined the revolution with us as we begin our deliveries of Ola S1. We are working hard to ramp up the production at the Ola Futurefactory to get the scooters in the hands of our customers as per their delivery windows.
