Pininfarina has released a teaser of their upcoming electric hypercar

Automobili Pininfarina has released a teaser image of its upcoming electric hypercar, Battista. The teaser image doesn’t reveal much about the car but it surely does succeed in enhancing the hype that the hypercar has been creating for a long time.

Currently it is known that the Battista has a complete carbon fiber construction. It is powered by a combination of electric motors that in conjugation produce a staggering 1900 HP of power and 2300 Nm of torque. It is expected that the Battista will cover the 0 to 100 km/hr run in less than 2 seconds and reach 300 km/hr in under 12 seconds, all with a potential zero emissions range of over 450 km.

“Initial demand in North America has been very strong for Battista, and our focus now is on presenting this spectacular hypercar to prospective clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia,” said Pininfarina sales director, Marcus Korbach. “Our team will also ensure we have everything in place with our exceptional network to ensure the success of the car. Based on the unique client relationship of our specialists we will add value through the product and brand experience.”

“We believe our retail specialists will become evangelists of the brand as they take on the privilege of caring for Pininfarina cars and clients. Initially, for the Battista’s 150 clients we’ll have 20 to 25 global touchpoints; as the Pininfarina range grows, we’ll add further retail specialists while still retaining exclusivity,” said Michael Perschke, CEO, Automobili Pininfarina.

The Battista will be revealed at an exclusive VIP event on March 4th Geneva post which it will be displayed for the public at the Geneva Motor Show the following day. The car’s market launch is scheduled for 2020 and it will be limited to just 150 units, 50 for North America, 50 for Europe and another 50 for the Middle East and Asia.
