Design has been updated and so has the equipment list.

The company has started accepting bookings for the 2018 Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport. This is a mid-cycle refresh and as with the previous car, you can get a long-wheelbase version, as well as the regular version.

The car was first shown at the LA Motor Show and was later spotted testing in India. The face is revised, it now gets Pixel-laser LED headlamps that inset into the gloss black fringes of the refreshed grille. The grille features a new Atlas mesh pattern. There’s also a different bumper design, tweaked tail-lamps and a more tapered rake for the rear windscreen.

On the inside, the cabin almost mimics the Velar. It’s got the new Touch Pro Duo infotainment system sports two 10-inch touchscreens on the centre console. The new front seats come with heated armrests, and up to 17 connecting points for charging and multimedia, a deployable centre console at the rear, hot stone seat massage function, gesture-controlled sun-blinds, cabin air purifier, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity for up to eight devices and adaptive cruise control with the queue assist function.

Mechanically, there are no changes, the engine range starts with the 247hp, 3.0-litre V6 diesel and goes up to the 551hp, 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol. The pre-facelift Range Rover costs Rs 1.66 crore and goes up to Rs 3.61 crore (ex-showroom).
