Details of Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 leaked

This bike will be the most expensive in the company’s line-up, when it’s launched.

All the earlier pictures showed off the 750 showed the bike in a single-seat configuration, with a tail cowl for its café racer motif, but fresh photos have shown it with a two-seat layout. This twin-seat resembles the optional long seat on the Continental GT 535 and even features a grab rail for the pillion, so the GT 750 might offer a similar option.

Apart from the seat configuration, a closer look at the engine reveals what looks like a fuel-injection system. The air-and-oil-cooled motor sits along the chassis' downtubes, much like how Triumph Packaged the radiator on its new Bonneville family.

The bike does have disc brakes at either end, and RE may offer ABS as standard when the bike goes on sale. The first bike rolling out from the factory could be a café racer, with a more 'standard' bike (like the Classic) that could follow as well.

No real details about the engine or even the launch have been revealed so far. But there’s a strong possibility we’ll see an India launch in early 2018 with a price tag of around ₹4 lakh.
