Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 revealed recently with its official launch date to be 7th November, 2023 by Royal Enfield. The motorbike was earlier seen via spy shots on social media which created a ravishing buzz among bike enthusiasts. The setup of the Himalayan 452 is like that of the Himalayan 411, which was introduced in 2016. Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is set to launch on November 7, 2023.
What’s Different?
In comparison to its predecessor, the Himalayan 411, several changes have been made to the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452. The Himalayan 452 comes with revamped fenders, a prorated seat arrangement, and a slimmer but more substantial fuel tank. On the front mudguard of the motorcycle, Himalayan branding is visible, along with Himalayan graphics embellishing the fuel tank, rear fender, and side panel. In the images shared on social media, an upward-sloping single exhaust equipped with a chrome panel is easily visible in the images shared. The motorcycle will come in a ‘Kamet White’ paint scheme.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 showcases a sleeker design, and it features USD front forks with protective fork covers. The motorcycle rides on 21-inch multi-spoke wheels accompanied by off-road tires. The weight of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is expected to be 196 kg, and it will make 39.47 bhp from its liquid-cooled motor. The motorcycle is anticipated to offer a power-to-weight ratio of 201.4bhp/tonne.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is powered by a 451.65 cc liquid-cooled engine that can churn out around 40 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of around 45 Nm. The engine will be attached to a six-speed gearbox. The weight of the motorcycle is expected to be approximately 196 kg. The Himalayan 452 comes with an analog-digital instrument cluster along with a TFT display that gives turn-by-turn navigation information.
Royal Enfield has not confirmed the price details of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452, but there are speculations regarding the adventure motorcycle that it will come in the price range of INR 2,60,000 to INR 2,70,000 (ex-showroom). From Chennai to Umling La, Royal Enfield is riding three Himalayan 452s, and 24 riders will ride the bikes across 5,500 km. After its official launch, the motorcycle will compete with the likes of the upcoming Hero XPulse 400, the KTM 390 Adventure, the BMW G310 GS, and the Yezdi Adventure.
The car features styling changes inside and out, has more kit and is now fitted with a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine.
