Renault’s Kwid Now Cheaper

Renault has passed on the benefits of GST to customers; price drops range from Rs 5,200 to Rs 29,500.

The Kwid’s Prices now start at ₹2.62 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) instead of ₹2.65 lakh. The price cuts are courtesy the company passing GST benefits on to customers - cuts range from ₹5,200 to ₹29,500, depending on the state and the variant.

The Kwid is powered by two engines - a 54hp, 799cc, three-cylinder petrol engine and a 68hp, 999cc, three-cylinder unit. The larger petrol comes with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT, while the 0.8-litre motor is paired to a five-speed manual only. You can choose between a 0.8 litre, 1.0-litre MT or a 1.0-litre AMT and Renault also offers the Kwid Climber in 1.0-litre guise mated to either the manual or the AMT.

Renault’s Kwid has already recorded sales of over 1,75,000 units since its launch in 2015.
