After the unveil, Renault is all set to bring the Triber MPV on the Indian streets. The MPV will be first launched in India and then later in different market across the world. Renault has managed to create a lot of interest around the MPV with its compact design and SUV like stance. Therefore, let's take a look at the new MPV from the French maker and see what it has to offer to the customers in the Indian market.

The new Renault Triber is based on the modified iteration of CMF-A platform, the actual launch of the MPV is supposed to take place sometime around the festive season this year. CMF-A (common module family-A) is the affordable platform that the French company came up with for developing markets.

One can already find Renault Kwid and Datsun RediGo in the Indian market that are based on the same platform. The MPV comes with the capability to seat 7 people.

The design of the Triber is very sober and the crossover inspired design of the Triber makes it a very unique looking car in the market.

The overall creases on the body of the Triber also give a good aesthetic, something that the future customers of the MPV will surely appreciate.

The design of the Triber looks inspired from the Kwid, and that is largely due to the modular CMF-A platform that the brand has used to underpin the Triber. The overall design of the Triber makes it look very premium and gives it an upmarket feel.

The Triber will be a petrol only car in the Indian market but the company has not fully revealed the engine details of the car as of now. However, the Triber will come with a 1.0-litre petrol engine.

The output for the petrol engine could be in the range of 71 Bhp and 96 Nm. The AMT version of this upcoming MPV has also been spotted testing, therefore an AMT is sure to be offered with the car along with a manual gearbox.

As per the brand, the Triber is as wide as the bigger MPVs in the market and the second row seats of the MPV can also be slided and folded as per the need of the user.

The third row seats are also movable and can be removed altogether as well. As already, expected the third row users will also get a taste of features like armrests and charging points, these nifty things will surely distinguish the Triber in Indian market.

Talking of the dashboard, there are a few interesting features present here as well. The dash comes with an all-digital instrument cluster, central air conditioning system, 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support and more.

The Triber also gets class-leading headroom and boot space without the third-row in place. All around the cabin one can find a lot of storage spaces that will come in handy during the long trips or even short commutes in the MPV.
