Lost Safety Features | Maruti Suzuki Brezza’s New Update!

The Brezza model from Maruti Suzuki has been revamped with new features and technological advancements. All passengers will now receive seatbelt warnings in the updated model, which also adds certain features while removing others.

Maruti Suzuki has covertly released an upgrade for the Brezza model, bringing notable modifications to its feature list and technological configuration among particular variations. Seat Belt reminders are now standard equipment for all five passengers in the updated Brezza, according to a recently published brochure on the company website.

This safety feature was previously only available for the front seats. Notably, the rear seat belt reminders have been improved such that they now function even if there are no passengers in the back seats.

Maruti suzuki Breeza new safety feature and element that the carmaker included to the Brezza series has been positively received. The business has chosen to drop several features from the range in order to make these modifications, though. Notably, the subcompact SUV's manual versions no longer feature the mild-hybrid technology that was formerly offered.

The fuel-saving feature will only be offered in the automatic versions moving ahead. These modifications have improved the fuel efficiency of the manual variant, which now offers a mileage of 17.38 km/l (ARAI approved), as opposed to the previous number of 20.15 km/l. The automatic version, on the other hand, keeps its 19.80 km/l fuel efficiency rating.

Maruti Suzuki has made other modifications to the Brezza lineup in addition to those already stated. The CNG models lack options like the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and hill hold aid. No changes have been made to the subcompact SUV's mechanical parts despite these feature updates. 

In terms of the powertrain, the 1.5-liter K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine that powers the Maruti Suzuki Brezza continues to produce 102 horsepower and 136.8 Nm of peak torque. Both a 6-speed torque converter and a 5-speed manual transmission are compatible with this engine. For the CNG version, a detuned motor that generates 87 horsepower and 121.5 Nm of peak torque is only available with a manual transmission.

The base variant of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza costs Rs.8.29 lakh, while the top-end variant costs Rs. 13.98 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Its competitors in the market include vehicles like the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and similar subcompact SUVs.
