The decision is probably influenced by the dropping value of the Pound.

Joining the likes of Land Rover, Aston Martin and Ferrari, Rolls-Royce products in India will undergo major price cuts. Since Brexit happened, the Pound’s value has dropped by almost 20 percent and is at almost ₹80 at the moment and this has clearly affected the auto industry.

The price cuts will range from ₹1 lakh and ₹55 lakh and if that isn't enough to convince you to rush to the nearest showroom already, we don't know what will. Models such as the Ghost, Dawn and Wraith will now be priced ranging from ₹4.37 crore to ₹5.7 crore. The pound drop has made exports to India cheaper for UK-based manufacturers. Taking advantage of the situations, most car makers are cutting prices by 5 to 15 percent. This move also gives them an edge over European car makers as far as price is concerned. Since the luxury car market is expected to grow even more in the next few years, we have to wait and see how this affects future sales.
