The bike owners and automotive designers love to fiddle with the Continental GT 650 and make it even more exciting - be it the styling aspect or performance. We have been covering exciting bike modifications for a long time now and needless to say, Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 has been a roaring hit. The RE 650 twins (Continental GT & Interceptor) are the most affordable twin-cylinder motorcycles currently available in the Indian market. We bring to you this time a modified Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 which is available for Rs 3 Lakhs.
The modified Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 owner shared the images on his Facebook page. At first glance, it can be said that the modification is tastefully done and maintained perfectly. The bike owner is currently selling it and as per the advertisement, the modified bike was purchased in February 2019. The bike was used until September 2019 as the owner then had to move abroad. The modification cost is worth Rs 2 Lakhs as per the Ad posted on the Facebook page. Owner's interest in acquiring Thruxton 1200R is the reason behind putting the beautifully customized Continental GT 650 on sale. The price seems reasonable considering the fact that the owner had to put in around Rs 2 Lakhs to transform the rugged Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 into a cafe racer.
Moving on to the modifications, the Continental GT 650 gets a white and black finish with multi-coloured strips on the fuel tank and rear. Analogue designed Kit Reck 2 is added to the bike alongside modifications like NGK spark plugs, MW Airlifiter, LED headlamps and fog lamps. Track, Touring and Stock exhausts are fitted in the bike with a touring double seat too.
Bike owner went for the black finish to the rims while Pirelli and Dunlop tyres are at front and rear respectively. Further modifications were undertaken on the sprockets at rear and front. Additional components include EBC brake pads, Zana sliders and sump kit, powertronic ECU with switchable maps and bar-end mirrors. With upgrades, the bike delivers 57-60 bhp of power while the torque figures have gone up too. This is almost 10 bhp more than the standard version of the motorcycle which delivers 47 bhp of power. The owner claims in the advertisement that the modified Royal Enfield gives a mileage of 27-28 kmpl. This is an impressive figure and makes it one of the most powerful modified Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Cafe Racer in recent times.
