Royal Enfield Meteor 350 was spotted without any camouflage and it appeared to be the final production-ready version.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been one of the most awaited products of this year in the Indian market. Earlier, it was scheduled to launch in April 2020 in the country to replace the Thunderbird but it was pushed back due to the nationwide lockdown caused by the COVID-19. The motorcycle has been spotted several times in the past and now it has been spotted once again. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 was spotted without any camouflage and it appeared to be the final production-ready mule of the motorcycle ahead of the launch.

Going by the spy-images, the biggest update visible with naked eyes is the addition of a new single pod semi-digital instrument cluster with half part with analogue dials. The second biggest update will be mechanical with the inclusion of a new engine which will be more powerful and refined than before. The engine will be linked to a 6-speed gearbox. If we talk about various other subtle cosmetic updates, then we can see the fuel filler cap being shifted to the centre at the top of the fuel tank as compared to being off-centre with the Thunderbird. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will ride on 10-spoke alloy wheels while being based on a new double-downtube frame instead of Thunderbird's single-downtube chassis.

The new motorcycle will feature dual disc brakes at the front and rear and it seems very unlikely that a drum brake version of the bike will be introduced. Upfront, it will flaunt a halogen headlamp while the tail-lamp cluster will be a LED unit. The riding position and seat length has been carried over from the Thunderbird. Though, the company has equipped the Meteor 350 with a raised handlebar and forward-set footpegs. Additionally, the split grab rail at the rear further accentuates the comfort level of the pillion. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 price is expected to be in range of Rs 1.70-1.90 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) while it will be the spiritual successor to the Thunderbird 350 range in the Indian market.
