The company will only sell 250 units in India.

The company will launch its Classic 500 Pegasus at the end of this month. It is a limited-edition model with 250 units (1,000 units globally) set aside for India. The bike may be priced around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom), but it won’t be available in a showroom, you have to buy this bike exclusively online.

The bike is inspired by the Royal Enfield RE/WD 125 (Flying Flea), used by British paratroopers during World War II. Thanks to its 59kg (wet weight), this bike was popular since it allowed soldiers to be able to lift the motorcycle over trenches and fences with ease.

Abroad, the bike is sold in two colours - Olive Drab Green and Service Brown. In India, however, it's only the brown shade that will be on sale, while the olive-green shade is reserved for the Armed forces.
