Skoda Auto Volkswagen India has announced that it is all set to participate in the forthcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The event will take place from February 1 to 3, 2024, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. At the event, the brand is planning to showcase both electric and internal combustion vehicles from its group brands, including Volkswagen, Lamborghini, Audi, and Porsche. Skoda India has confirmed that it is going to display the Enyaq iV electric SUV at the show’s inaugural edition in the presence of various VW Group companies.
Skoda launched the Enyaq iV in the international market in 2022 and has been gearing up to roll out this electric SUV in the Indian automotive market as well. The company previously decided to bring the model to India in the last quarter of FY2024. The Enyaq iV was initially showcased in production guise in September 2020, and it has been tested in India. The auto giant will finally display this electric car at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. It is anticipated to launch the Enyaq iV before April 2024. The new electric SUV will reach the country as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) first. However, if the demand grows, the company could also assemble the car in India.

The top-of-the-line Enyaq iV will be Skoda’s new flagship offering in the country. The new SUV is a bit smaller than the Kodiaq and is likely to come in the Enyaq iV 80x trim. It will be powered by a 77-kWh battery set and two electric motors, one on each axle. The motor can churn out a combined output of 265 bhp. The new EV gets a certified range of 513 km (WLTP Cycle) in one charge, and it supports DC fast charging up to 125 kW.
The Czech car maker will offer the Skoda Enyaq iV with a wide range of features, such as a 360-degree camera, leatherette upholstery inside the cabin, digital screens for the infotainment system and instrument console, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
With the Skoda Enyaq iV, the group brand could also display the Volkswagen ID. 4 GTX. Both of these cars are based on the MEB platform. The Audi Q4 e-tron is also underpinned by the same platform. The Enyaq iV electric SUV will rival the likes of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and more.
