Skoda India has announced the “CAMOUFLAGE WITH ŠKODA” design contest for its upcoming mid-sized sedan in the country. The brand has invited applications from all over the country to take part in the contest and design the camouflaged version of the all-new sedan which will have its world premiere in the Indian market later this year. Entries to the contest will be open till 18th August 2021 and the top five entries shortlisted by the jury will be announced on 23rd August 2021. One final winner will be announced from among the top five shortlists.
This is the second global debut of an all-new product in India planned by Skoda after the Kushaq in March this year. The top 5 shortlisted designs will get an opportunity to travel to Skoda's headquarters in Prague to meet Mr. Oliver Stefani - Head of Design, Skoda Auto. Furthermore, the company will implement the winning design on the upcoming Skoda sedan while it will also be showcased across the country. The runner-up will be awarded a design tablet followed by the other three shortlisted entries which will receive Skoda gift bags. Any individual aged above 18 years can participate in the design contest. It is also extended to design studios, companies, universities, design students and design professionals. They can participate in the contest by registering and submitting their designs online.

KUSHAQ was designed in close collaboration between our teams in the headquarters and India, and the upcoming mid-size premium sedan follows this practice. The camouflage contest is a great way to kick-off activities for the second global reveal planned by us this year.”
