Czech carmaker, Skoda has launched the top trim of their flagship vehicle in India, the Kodiaq L&K. The L&K stand for Laurin and Klement, the founder of the company. The L&K variant of all Skoda cars is loaded with features and gets unique styling touches.
The exterior gets a new paint scheme called the Magnetic Brown shade. There is some chrome treatment on the grille and on the rear bumper. The doors sills get aluminium scuff plates and most importantly the Laurin & Klement badges sit proudly on the front fenders.
On the interior, it gets a piano black finish dashboard along with L&K logo on the left side it. The seats are wrapped in stone being leather. The instrument cluster on the car is completely digital and this variant also comes with Virtual Cockpit. The car also comes equipped with the 360 Surround Area View and Hands-Free Parking.
The engine, however, remains unchanged with the same 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine that gives a power output of 150 PS and 340 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. The power from the engine is channelled to all four wheels. Skoda India has priced the Kodiaq L&K at Rs. 35.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
