The car features updated styling and added tech; no mechanical changes.

What’s instantly noticeable is the restyled nose which features a new quad headlamp arrangement. There’s a revised bumper and minor styling tweaks elsewhere too.

This car comes with added equipment - a hands-free parking function, updated smartphone integration and a driver fatigue monitoring system. The basic design of the dash will remain, albeit with a few notable tweaks. It will most likely feature a larger touchscreen infotainment system as well. Mechanically, the car is expected to use the same set of engines.

Also, Skoda is expected to launch the Octavia vRS around Diwali this year. The vRS for India will be powered by a 230hp, 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine and will feature a more aggressive body kit, blacked-out trim bits and larger alloy wheels. The car will sit on an updated suspension setup as well.
