Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Burgman Street Blue Edition at a starting price of Rs 79,700/- (ex-showroom Delhi) in the country. The newly introduced paint scheme is Pearl Suzuki Medium Blue No. 2. The BS6 compliant 125cc scooter is already on offer in four color choices: Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red. Suzuki Burgman Street Blue Edition takes on the likes of TVS Ntorq, Honda Grazia and Aprilia SR125 in the Indian market.
The Blue Edition gets chrome accents on the front and rear body parts while other features include LED headlights, body-mounted windscreen, and upward muffler design. It also comes with a front glove box with DC socket and Combined Braking System (CBS) as standard features. The seat is longer and the foot position is flexible. Being powered by an all-aluminium BS6 compliant 124cc single cylinder four stroke engine, it has a maximum power output of 8.6bhp at 6750rpm and peak torque performance of 10Nm at 5500rpm. The engine boasts of Fuel Injection engine technology in sync with Integrated Engine start and Kill switch with Suzuki Easy Start System to boost engine start operation during traffic conditions.
