Tata’s flagship, the Hexa, is all set to get a special edition model.

Indian motorcar company, Tata is getting ready to launch a special edition of the Hexa very soon. The car will come with special brown paint unique to this model. It will also feature a few other accessories.

The bronze colour on the special edition of the Hexa is similar to the one available on the Tata Tigor compact sedan. However, this colour will be unique for the Hexa. In addition to the colour, the special edition Hexa will come with special seat covers, rear-seat entertainment, a HUD (heads-up display), tyre pressure monitor and few other features.

This new edition of the Hexa will remain mechanically unchanged. In its highest spec, the Hexa uses a 2.2-litre, 156hp engine – called the Varicor 400 – mated to a manual or automatic gearbox. Reports suggest that this special edition of the Hexa will be priced Rs 85,000 more than the highest-spec Hexa XT variant. Currently, there is no news whether this is a limited edition model or will become a part of the Hexa’s trim line-up permanently.
