The car is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol motor that makes 85hp of power.

The AMT car is only available only in the top-spec XZA trim and prices start at ₹5.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The AMT uses the same 1.2-litre petrol motor as the standard car and it makes 85hp. There is no diesel-powered model on offer. This car’s gearbox is a five-speed unit that also offers a ‘Sport’ mode and ‘creep’ function for when you’re stuck in traffic. It also offers a ‘City’ mode similar to what’s available on the manual car. You also have the option to change gears manually.

While this version is available only on the top trim for now, Tata will offer the AMT gearbox in lower variants as time goes by.

The Celerio AMT is the only direct rival to the Tiago AMT in the segment and is available in more than one trim. Its top trim is cheaper than the Tiago’s by around ₹14,000.

Tata Tiago AMT prices:

• ₹5.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

• ₹5.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai)
